SUMMARY:

• Project Management experience with large-scale rollouts.  These projects involved meeting milestones, monitoring project budgets. Assigning and reviewing tasks for team members, enterprise-wide design implementation and deployment, lab design and setup, client configuration and training and technical documentation.  These organizations ranged in size from 500 to 3500 users.
• Extensive technical experience with Exchange Server including Internet Mail Service, SMTP protocol, SendMail, X.400 connectors, RAS connectors and gateways to disparate messaging systems.  Integration of Exchange technology has been accomplished in both private and public business organizations.  Have worked with Exchange since beta of Exchange 4.0 (April 1995). Current skill set includes experience with Exchange 2000/2003 in mixed mode environment with Exchange 5.5 and Active Directory Connector. 
• Extensive experience with Windows 2000 and 2003 Server.  Accomplished in the usage of all tools in the TCP/IP protocol suite used with NT Server: DNS, DHCP, WINS, etc.  Extensive experience in integrating Windows into Internet and Intranet environments.
• Skilled in design and setup of corporate Internet and Intranet web sites using Microsoft Internet Information Server and sub-components. Recent projects include development, testing and deployment of a web application server build using Windows 2000 and IIS5 for rollout in a 55,000-user enterprise. This project includes rapid deployment, imaging of the server build and review of information compliance and security configuration.
• Performed extensive administrative troubleshooting in an organization consisting of over 35,000 users.  This was a post-production project integrating performance monitoring and proactive fault tolerant systems.
• Experienced in rapid deployment of Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP at the desktop level using disk imaging and unattended setup files.  Experienced with Windows 2000 Active Directory design and installation and design and deployment of enterprise-wide Group Policies using Active Directory components.
• Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook (all versions), Microsoft Exchange Client (original release with server product in 1996) Microsoft Mail, most Symantec Norton products, and many other off-the-shelf software packages.
• CNE certification achieved in 1994.  Re-certified in 1996 in NetWare 4.x and Netware Directory Services.  Extensive experience with this product dates back to 1988.  Have integrated Windows into existing NetWare systems.

Adept Technology, San Jose CA. -  Designed and assist in maintaining an Exchange 5.5 Server organization with sites and servers in San Jose, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Germany, Italy, France and Canada. Currently in early design stages for upgrade to Windows 2000 Active Directory and Exchange 2000

ChevronTexaco, San Ramon CA. - Development, testing and deployment of a web application server build using Windows 2000 and IIS5 for rollout in a 55,000-user enterprise.

Contra Costa Water District, Concord CA. - Designed and assisted in rollout of single Exchange server 5.5 organization. Currently assisting with a NetWare 4.x to Windows 2000 Active Directory migration.

Whalen and Company, Lafayette CA. - Regularly maintain Exchange 5.5 organization of 500 users on single server. Currently involved with “re-branding” the company, configuring and maintaining new DNS domains with Windows 2000 DNS.

Contra Costa Community College District, Martinez, CA - Ongoing support of five-server Exchanger 5.5 organization. Also worked on a firewall implementation project.

Gateway Group, Inc.  -  Senior Network Specialist                                                  9/94 ~ 7/01

As a staff member of Gateway Group, assisted or managed LAN/WAN integration projects using Microsoft products in the Networking, Client/Server, Internet, Intranet and database applications environment. Some of these projects included, PG&E, Wells Fargo Bank, Pacific Telesis and The Good Guys.
